From 1973 to 1989, the school was under the name ‘Ramnagar Suburban Preparatory School’, having Std I to V and was a feeder school to the English medium classes of ‘The Suburban Higher Secondary School’. In the year 1989 it bloomed into a Matriculation school having up to std X. It was upgraded into a higher secondary school in the year 1998. Taking its own gentle course through the years, it is now the most prestigious ‘ Ramnagar Suburban Matriculation Higher Secondary School’ with 1338 twinkling stars(students) from LKG to Std XII, governed and ably guided by 44 teaching and 11 non-teaching staff.
