Vivekananda Vidyalaya

History of School:

Our Vidyalaya started in the year 1991 with 35 students up to grade II in Athipattu camp. The Vidyalaya was shifted to NCTPS Vallur Camp with 95 students up to Grade V in the year 1993. It was extended up to Grade VIII in the year 1998-99 with 99 Students .At present the strength of the Vidyalaya is above 300.Milestones

Our students reached Grandmaster level in "Spell Bee" competition.

For the past 3 years our students are participating in Olympiad Examination conducted by SOF and achieving Medals in subjects like IEO,IMO, NSO,NCO & ISKO.

Our children proved their talent in various games at the Zonal & District Level in the Under 14 Category for the year 2016-17.

With ardent efforts and support from our parents we successfully conducted the "SRI SRI Srinivasa Thirukalyanam" this year.

Our school has expanded strength wise & section wise.

As envisaged by our Honorary Secretary Ji, we have been conducting Vivekananda Arivu Pasarai for under privileged children of the society for inculcating education, culture and tradition.

For inculcating compassion and humanity in our children we visit old age home to distribute the necessary items every year on the eve of Diwali.

Our students have won the District level Drawing and colouring conducted by OSHO Communications and Global Event Managers.

Our students have won the District level prizes for the Shakespeare Talent search Exam.
