Kamakoti Vidyalaya Matriculation School

Kamakoti Vidyalaya focuses on education to ‘impart politeness’.Nearly four decades ago, the school was founded by Padmabhushan Sri.N.Ramaswami Ayyar at the divine command of their Holiness Shri Sankaracharyas of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam in the year 1973.Kamakoti vidyalaya is a private school offering Co-education to the children from L.K.G to X Std. Irrespective of their caste, creed and convention. The school is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi and prepares the students for the prestigious ICSE examination, the curriculum for which is so nicely designed to give an over all development to the student with an in-depth knowledge in every subject.KKV is located in the legendary city of Tiruchirapalli. It has grown to such dimensions with the blessings of Goddess Akilandeshwari. While we acknowledge our thanks to Goddess, we are also grateful for the people she blessed us with - the various stakeholders, starting with our dear students, the staff, our parent community and our well wishers.The school is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi. We specially opted for this system for the freedom it offers to impart quality education which is broad based with a fine balance between theory and practice.
